I was the first blogger asked to join the Army in boot camp [as part of Accessions Command’s blogger engagement program]. They sent me to Fort Benning in March of this year [2011] to spend three days experiencing the physical training that privates go though in infantry. I’m a fitness person, but this was even tough for me, especially the upper body strength that was needed to do everything. (If you haven’t noticed, I’m a girl.)
